It is the oldest record of an early man, outside African continent. It is the oldest human skeleton found in Malaysia.
The Perak Man was discovered within Gua Gunung Runtuh cave. He was buried with legs folded in a foetal position. He was proabbly a significant member of his tribe aged 40-50 when he died.
