KL Cenotaph, Tugu Negara, Hibiscus in Kuala Lumpur
The monument is depicted on Malaysian 1 Ringgit notes.
Originally intended to commemorate teh Great War, it would later include fallen British Malayan soldeiers of WW2. Names of the fallen have been engraved.
The National Monument is 15 metres tall made of bronze.
7 figures: holding the Malaysian flag, armed with a rifle, armed with a machine gun, soldier tending to a wounded compatriot and 2 lying down representing the Communist.
